BR1 work permit due to marriage now separated

Hi

My estranged wife is working in the uk using a BR1 form work permit issued to a romanian citizen married to a uk citizen. Recently we seperated and she returned to romania , she now intends to return and start work again.

If she returns and we are seperated is the work permit still valid.

She may be able to get one in her own right anyway, and there is no need for her to have any sort of work permit to come to the UK. She just may need something to show employers if she decides to work.
