Non-EU Worker and EU Fiance

Post by Mandoryan » Wed Oct 08, 2008 3:28 pm

Hey folks, just had a quick question. I'm currently working in Dublin (US Citizen) and living with my fiance (Greek). We're getting married in June back in the States, but it looks as though I'm going to be laid off in the next couple of weeks due to the downturn in the economy. My question is: is there any way for me to stay in Ireland past my GNIB working date (December 9th) because of my fiance or am I going to have to leave the country and then come back as a tourist for three months (and so on and so forth until the marriage)? Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.
