Deceiption on dependent visa. What are the chances?

Hi there,

I applied for a dependent visa to join my spouse who is on Tier 4 visa, it was refused due to deception as I did not disclose the previous refusal at the UK border for suspect of my passport being tapered so they refused entry

I did not disclose this as it happened 6 years ago, It was my bad. They refused under 9.7.1 (a) and 9.7.2 with a 10-year ban

I wanted to know if I can reply for a new dependent visa. Any advice, please?
