Hi,

I got my ILR last year and still haven't applied for naturalisation. My question is, as I am applying for my child's British passport, in future when I will apply for Naturalisation

1. Do I need to keep a certified copy of my BRP stating my ILR status and send the original to HO?

I ask this as some of the moderators have mentioned that this is the only proof for my child's British passport so I should have a proof just in case there is an issue in the future.
