Problem in Payslip...Please help

Post by karan1101981 » Fri Oct 17, 2008 9:16 am

Hi guys,

I was in UK and I came to India on 15th june. From 16th June I am on company's India Payroll. My company has given me my June(15th to 30th) month's India salary along with July's salary and the same is mentioned as "Arrears" in July's Payslip and credited with July's Salary. I didn't got June's Payslip.

Will BA accept this as it is not mentioned anywhere in July's Payslip that this Arrears are of June 2008 salary? How do I justify this?

Please help.

Hi Karan,

Two things here:

1. You can mention the same in your cover letter
2. For claiming points for previous earnings one has to select 12 out of the last 15 months, even if you dont wish to claim for June, just quote the July salary (which had June salary too).

If you make enough points from only 6 months then you dont need 12... :)

But yes...safe bet would be to point this thing out in the cover letter, will help in showing continous employement. If you can get a letter to this effect from your employer....nothing like it ... :)

Amit

even i'll advise you to get a letter from your company stating that arrears mentioned in July's payslip are for the month of June 2008.
otherwise arrears may be for the period much before your claim period.
