Government approved hotel

Hi there,

I wanted to know if I can book the government approved hotel for quarantine from Pakistan to UK using my wife’s debit card who is in UK? Will the hotel reception require the card with which it was booked as a few hotels does require that on check in or it’s not required. Kindly advise.
