Proof of Address - naturalisation

Post by clownfish » Tue Aug 10, 2021 1:50 pm

I've seen lots of comments of people saying they submitted exactly 3 proofs of address per year as requested, just to have INIS write back and ask for the same thing again, which delays the process.

Has anyone overshot and just sent all the documents they have? Like 5 proofs of residence for every month x 60 months.

Any idea on whether this helps or harms an application? Thinking about reducing processing time as possible.

The requirement is 3 proofs. Sending more will not help expedite your application. They will still ask you for more proofs regardless of how many proofs you have submitted, sometimes they would even ask you to submit an identical copy.

It does not harm your application either, so if you have more proofs that you want to send, just send them away.

I sent 4 proofs for some of the years but they still came back asking for a different proof.
