Impact on business visa due to HSMP

Folks,

I have a query relating to what will be the effect of EC based on HSMP to my long term buisness visa for UK (5 years). Basically two questions:

If my EC gets approved, what will be the effect on the business visa that I already have?

If my EC gets rejected, will it have any effect on my normal business visa?

Request moderators or anybody who can give me advice so that I have a clear idea on implication of EC refusal or approval on normal visitor's visa

You must be clear about your visa category. Is it Business visa or Visa being a business man? (which is usually a visit visa)

I am working for an MNC in India and need to go to UK for work purposes. Hence this visa was applied for visits to the UK for buisness purposes which I believe falls under 'Visitor' Category.

Will be grateful if somebody can guide me on the impact
