Natularisation Application - Service Standard

Hope you are well.

I had a general question with reagrds to my British Natularisation application.
I submitted my application on 14-Mar-21 and my Biomteric was done on 12-Apr-21.
Home office had sent an email confirming the receipt of my application on 15-Mar-21.

Now, firstly my question was the standard timeline of 6 months is from date of submission or date of biometrics?
Secondly, if I consider the date of submission then technically it would be 6 months on 15-Sep-21 and till date I have not received any communication from home office. So, in this case can I contact home office? Also, is there a number where I contact them?

I understand that I cannot contact home office before the standard timelines.
