Driving offences

Post by dedekind » Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:54 am

Hello,

I am applying for british citizenship after ILR and apparently I need to declare all my driving offences, both here in the UK and in any other country. I find it hard to remember, to be honest, since I know I've had at least a couple of parking tickets and a speeding ticket in the USA. I am certain that I had a speeding ticket in Germany as well some years ago. But I can't remember any of the details of them, not the dates, not the fines.. how am I supposed to declare these?

In the UK I have only a couple of parking notices, e.g. one where I parked in a car park and forgot to pay beforehand, so ended up paying a lot more on the fine. Do these kind of things count?

I should say none of these offences have ever been elevated to court, always dealt with them just by paying the fine. I never had any suspended licence, disqualification, points, etc.
