Can financial requirements be met with saving?

I am preparing to apply a spouse visa i am confused, if i do not meet financial requirements £18600 via job or self employment, is it possible to meet financial requirements with saving?
How much this amount should be?
For how long this should be available in your account?
Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Yes. Minimum £62500, normally held for at least six months, assuming no non-exempt children and not subject to adequate maintenance and no income.

If relying solely on savings, you need to show £62,500 that must have been held for last 6 months Supported with statements covering the time and declaration of the source of the savings.
