ILR for dependent

Post by Apuk2021 » Tue Oct 19, 2021 9:21 am

Hi Team,

Hope you are well.

I want to apply ILR for my wife who arrived in the UK with me around 5.5 years back. I have already received my ILR few months back but I did not apply for her ILR when I applied mine.

Her Tier 2 Dependent visa is valid until March 2022.

So when I am trying to apply for SET (O) Form ILR, which category shall i select for Select a category in which you are applying for indefinite leave to remain.

If I select Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson dependant, in the questions it asks me for which visa I have been granted (the Tier 2 main applicant).

Is it something that I should not be applying via SET O Form.

Please let me know how I need to proceed?

Thanks

Seems ok to me. Which bit worries you?

What confuses me is the question in SET (O) Form:

Which visa is Mr xxx applying for or been granted?
Choose the route that Mr xxx has applied for or been granted, even if their application is still being processed.

And then it gives me option for Tier 2 General.

and the next is
Do you have one of these reference numbers for Mr xxx?
(Required)

Yes, I have their VAF number

Yes, I have their GWF number

No, I do not have a reference number for them

Now that I have an ILR, why do I need to give these details?

This confuses me if I need SET(M) Form or am i fine to proceed with SET(O)?

SET(M) is incorrect, if her last application was not FLR(M).
SET(O) should be correct.
