Withdraw ILR application

Post by neeesz78 » Tue Oct 19, 2021 9:27 pm

Dear Team
I've recently submitted my ILR application via 10yrs route (online) and paid fees
my Biometric appointment is next week.

I now wants to withdraw my application and resubmit ILR via 5 year route Tier2 general - later in the year.
I just to want to avoid any issues with my family time outside UK (we are on Tier2 General since Jan-2017)

our current Tier2 general remain valid until Jan-23

few questions please:
1- is it possible to withdraw the ILR application and how ?
2- will I get my fees refunded (have not submitted biometric yet) ?
3- For Tier2 general issued in Jan 2017 , PBS dependents dont have issue with time outside UK ?
"I'm only talking of 35 days in total over 10 year period that concerns me"

Thanks in advance for your help and advice

Regards

Thanks 🙏 , it seems correct form but it ask for home office reference number , it’s not accepting my unique application number ?
I submitted ILR online , I am not sure what to do ?

I believe you can use Payment ref number if you dont know your HO ref.

Hi neeesz78, would be keen to hear if you had any success? i.e. if the refund request has been acknowledged? Perhaps its too soon given its only been a few days but I am in the same situation (different visa route though) but unsure of how straightforward the refund process is.

Thanks

I filled out the online withdrawal form and sent post in 6weeks ago.

I still don't have any email yet.. I don't know why it takes so long to receive any feedback before I get a refund..

(sent email to the home office, they can't uphold my case, but they confirmed that they received my request)

Hi All and @chatty1986
my apology all for not updating but the process of refund went smoothly after worrying time

I got email confirming application withdrawal after 2 weeks from withdrawing online :(
full refunds received 3 weeks after the email - all in all it took about 1.5 months

but I guess it was delayed more because of holiday season break
