Question about Spouse visa

Post by voyager1 » Wed Nov 03, 2021 11:49 am

I realise that a person has to earn £18,600 a year before tax in order to bring his non EU spouse to the UK. However, how does one show this? Does the person in question have to have a contract(some people working may not have signed a contract)? Or can the evidence be provided simply by showing payslips?

Also if a person changes jobs in the 6 month period required to make these earnings, how long of a gap between being employed is allowed? Or does the income required have to be evidenced by consistent weekly/monthly earnings of the required amount?

Letter from your employer, payslips and bank statements covering dame period and reflecting the income.

There are categories to cater for such which probably will lead in your scenario to be Category B to meet financial requirements.
