Current IRP Card timelines

Post by asverma » Tue Nov 09, 2021 11:03 am

Hi Guys, I have applied for my stamp4 (from stamp 1) on 14th Sept. Haven't heard back from them yet anyone else who applied around the same time can confirm their timelines that would be of help for everyone.
I have few info from other.

Applied 1st Sept - Mail on 19th Oct
Applied 6th Sept- mail on 5Th Nov
Applied 14th Sept - Nothing yet

From what you are saying, the delays are getting worse instead of improving!
This is starting to become unsustainable. If this goes into December I will lose the best job offer I've ever had!

My personal case:

Applied: 23rd Sept - Nothing yet

I am renewing my stamp 4. I applied on 15th of September. As of 9th of November, I heard nothing, not even an e-mail saying my card is on the way..... So frustrating.........

Applied beginning of September and took 7 weeks for me, they sent me email confirming it was completed (and I could see application as completed on the system) then 5 more days to arrive in the post.

Today, It has been 2 months since I applied for the IRP renewal. Is there anybody who applied mid-September and got their confirmation e-mail at least?

I haven't even received the confirmation e-mail.

Thanks John but it is always quicker in the local office. In Dublin, it is not an option unfortunately.

Is there anybody who applied through ISD mid-september and got confirmation so far for an IRP renewal?

Those announcements are welcome (IRP valid to travel until January and Citizenship Applications new guidelines in terms of passport).

However, people that are changing from stamp1 to stamp4 like I am are being left in the dark... I don't really care about traveling until January, but I am about to lose a unique job offer because it's been nearly 8 weeks since I applied for the IRP and probably I won't get it in the next 2 weeks.

This is very disrespectful, to be honest. They need to understand that the delays have huge effect on people's life.

Almost 2 months, taking New Year holidays/etc into account. If you're unsure when applying, do it now, so you will have final two months to apply again before extension is over.

The renewal was for Stamp 4 EUFam, they requested the passport copy of my spouse (which I should have added), and address proof for both of us.
