Lost Life In The UK result email

Post by seank » Sun Nov 21, 2021 11:20 am

Hi,

I did pass my Life In The UK test as part of the ILR application last year but sadly the email is forever deleted by mistake at some point during the past 12 months. So I don't have the access to that unique code.

Now that I am applying for Citizenship, is there any way to retrieve that code?

What are my options? I am assuming:

* Redo the test (I hope I can go with another choice)
* Write a cover letter and explain the situation (I'd only do this if that's a standard procedure)
* Find a way/email/number that let me retrieve the Unique Reference Number

Thank you

Did you enter the certificate number in the .GOV account?

if so, you can login there and find your number in your account.

Thank you so much for the link.

So what I did so far:

Called 03001 232 253 but this number has changed.
I was advised to call 0300 790 6268 and followed the options to reach immigration advices before application. Explained the situation and the lady on the phone said if you remember the date and the place you had the exam then you can put it in a cover letter and it should be fine. The only regret is I do remember I took the test in Reading town but don't know the test centre name. I hope google can help me.

I did enter the number during my ILR applications but I am not sure what is .GOV account? where can I access it? I was hopping maybe there is a link to view all the previous applications as I should have that info there but sadly it doesn't appear so!

if the link above doesn't work, try this one: https://www.lituktestbooking.co.uk/litu ... ge-account

I've just logged into my account there and I can see my test result and the certificate number.

You are a legend! my account was locked which unlocked after calling the helpline. Thank you so much!
I don't have to go through writing a cover letter and buying myself doubts.

Good advice. Thank you. I’ll update my previous link to include this.
