Hi everyone,

This is for one of my friend who is going through some issues.

He came to UK as spouse to British national. He and his wife have a child together who is also British and his wife put him on 10 years route due to differences between them. His current Leave is valid until July 2023. Due to vast abuse from his wife and his in laws he decided to leave the house and now seeking what options he have from immigration status point of view as his wife may have reported him to HO. Questions are:

1. If he can continue to live in the UK as his leave is valid till July 2023?
2. What options he have when the Leave runs out? Can he apply further leave considering he have a child and he have strong bonds with the child? If yes then what route it will be and the requirements?
