6 Months Visit visa for Parents to UK

Hi,

I am trying to find out if NHS in Scotland covers for visit visa holders here for less than 6 months.

Is NHS service free for them

Is it better to get a health insurance in India before travelling to UK for short stay visit visa holders?

Please do clarify this
