Absence on Skilled Worker Visa

Hi there,

I am on a Skilled Worker Visa. I recently found out that I need to go for pressing matters to my home country and will have to spend up to 6 months there. During those 6 months, I will not be working for the employer.

Question:
1. How long can I stay outside the UK?
2. Is it possible to take a sabbatical or unpaid leave for up to 6 months?
3. Do they need to inform Home Office about my absence?
