Can we travel outside UK with 6 months marriage visa

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if we are allowed to travel outside UK with a marriage visa. The visa is for 6 months, it's multiple entry and Cat D.
We wanna go to do shopping.
Do we need to apply for a schengen visa or even Irish visa after all I am a British citizen.
