Dule passport: Name change

Hi I've recently completed my British Citizenship and am thinking about changing my surname to my husband's. But I also have a valid Cambodia passport under my maiden name.

My Cambodia passport is useful as it allows me to travel around Asia without visas. Can I use both passports when travelling, with different surnames?

HMPO will not issue you a British passport in a name different from one on an already existing passport without a good reason.

You will need the name to be changed in your Cambodian passport to your married name before having a British passport issued in that married name.

That's where the issue arises, in my home Country (Cambodia) it is extremely difficult, expensive and long-winded to change surnames (it's not normal protocol after marriage).

Is there any work around. I just wanted to use my husband's surname now I've achieved naturalisation.

Can you get an offical document from the embassy or government stating that? HMPO may accept that.
