Maintenance of Funds

Post by vijey » Sun Nov 09, 2008 8:38 am

HI All,

I am Vijey. I am planning to apply for HSMP. I have a query with regards to the maintanence of funds -

As specified in the terms and condtions, looks like the applicant needs to have 2,800 Pounds equivalent INR in the bank account for past 3 months from the date of applying.

Well, frankly, I do not have this amount for the past 3 months in my account. However, I can show this amount in my accnt 3 months from now, since the funds have now been transferred.

Let me put the question straight:

- Does this mean that I can apply only after 3 months where in I can show this balance in my account?

OR

- Is there any alternatives that I can show now to apply right away? For example, FDs, properties in my name etc?

Pls let me know your valuable views. Thanks In Advance.! 8)

-Vijey

I provided FDs (opened before 3 months) and a letter from the bank stating that I can withdraw money whenever I want it..

Thanks in advance,

Hi I have the VISA from Bangladesh BHC office where they accepted the FDR. I have provided them FDR Copy, FDR Statements signed by Bank and A letter from Bank mentioned that the money could be cash any moment and do not have any loan against that particular FDR.

Beside this you could check this issue with BHC at yours,BHC in Bangladesh confirms me that they will accpt FDR.

All the best

I have the same problem... I have started maintaining the amount in my account. But I have the FDs on my name.

and can i use this FD's + balance in 3 three different account for 2 months...

Kindly keep me also posted on habenani@yahoo.com id

Hi habenani,
I was in touch with Vertex immigations, and they told me that
they have seen few cases where the VISA got rejected as it was FD.
Since to break a FD it requires 1 day.
So, then I have to break that FD and now again I am waiting for
next 3 months.

regards,
venu

Hi,
I have nearly 3lks INR in my salaried account from past 2 months. I have taked personal loan to show the liquid amount. But every month I pay an EMI of 7500 INR.
Will that be a problem bcz thats actually the loan amount not mine.
Also, correct me if I am wrong now to get the VISA it takes 14 weeks (3.3 months). Do I have to keep the amount even after I file the VISA ?

I mean, I will be applying for VISA by dec 12. Is it important to keep the amount of 2800 GBP still in my account till I get the VISA stamped ? or can I take the money after dec12 for my personal use ?

regards,
Venu
