URGENT- Switching from TIER4 to TIER2, without completing MSc

Hi All,

Less than a month ago (JAN 2022) I had my UK Student visa (TIER4), and in the mean time I had an interview with a UK company and they are ready to give (CoS) the TIER2 visa.
My only concerns is that will i be able to move from TIER4 to TIER2 this early. And possibly I will defer the course or will take as part time.
Also note that I do meet the relevant point based system for skilled worker visa, as I already do possess MSc (Engineering) from UK on 2012, and my current course is Management studies.

Yes. You might be looking at the wrong information: you will be a applying for a Skilled worker visa, not Tier 2.

Its skilled worker visa, NOT TIER2 2, my apology.
Will be able to switch to Skilled worker visa from TIER4, as I had the TIER4 for less than a month, and the course was started just a month ago.

As answered above, yes. Your sponsor will have already looked into this before issuing your COS.

I successfully transferred my student visa to skilled worker visa.
As per my COS my start date is on 25 April 2022. IN the mean time I did check my UK immigration or work status, it says that I should only work for y employer and the visa end date.
My question is that will need to wait until the COS start date or shall start the work?

Ask your employer's HR person. This is their call.

Hi Mohan, I'm happy to hear that, you were able to change. I'm in same kind of scenario. I'm doing my thesis finishing in September, my future employer wants me to start in July. Can I get a skilled worker visa and still go to Uni? Will there be any issue? Is it legal?

You keep asking the same question repeatedly. I have replied 4 times now.

Given your ongoing concerns, you need to clarify this matter with your Skilled worker sponsor.
