Biometric Appointment to Avoid a Gap

My visa will be expired in 10/02/2022 and I already submitted my new visa application. Do I need to make an appointment before the expiry date of my visa in order to avoid a gap for the 10 years ILR?

No. "Date of application" for an application under the Student route is defined in paragraph 6.2 of the immigration rules.
