Dependent VISA for my baby

Hi,

I am on Work Permit here in UK. I applied for my baby daughters dependent VISA application on 11th October and fees has been deducted from my account on 13th October. The VISA has not arrived yet.

My mother is suddenly fallen sick in India and for that I need to travel ASAP. Can someone please let me how I can speed up the process or what should I do now I am really confused. The home office has my and my daughters passport with them.

Can I cancel the application and get the passports back how many days it takes.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
