FLR(HRO) its been more than 6 mohts

hi, Asking this question on behalf of my friend
my friend's mother came from India on medical visit visa because her son had some medical issued.
She applied for FLR(HRO) on 16 Aug 2021. But till today she hasn't received any reply from home office.
Please advise if he should contact home office, if yes could someone help me with email address etc thanks
