Family name and Given name is misplaced/swapped in COS letter

Post by ravi2k3 » Wed Mar 16, 2022 8:25 pm

I have received a COS letter from a new employer with a misplaced/swapped GIVEN name and Family name.

My name in the passport -
GIVEN name: Sundhar
Family name: Pandi

In cos letter
GIVEN name: Pandi
Family name: Sundhar

I informed the employer about the mistakes in the COS letter. They've added a sponsor note with the correct given and family names.

Is that correct and shall I proceed with the Visa application? will there be any problem in getting a visa? please advise me.

Yes of course.

Doubting your visa sponsor and preferring the advice on random strangers is not a sensible approach!
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
