Divorce in Ireland

Am Irish citizen i got married in ireland now me and my ex wife are separated since last summer i decided to move to uk can i apply for the divorce from uk or not?
Or wait for 2 years and apply for divorce in Ireland
My solicitor sent letter to the solicitors of my ex wife to agree for separation but they are looking for money to pay toward her rent because we both in the tenancy agreement
Me and my ex wife we don't share any assets or either have kids
Any help please

As with your last post, this isn’t the right place. This is an immigration forum, and you are on the Irish immigration sub-forum. It’s not the right place for a marriage issue happening elsewhere in the world. There are plenty of marriage consultation sites in the UK. Please check with them.
