ILR for HSMP visa holders

Post by netacct » Sat Nov 15, 2008 6:00 pm

Hi All,

I was on WP for 4 years. Then I shifted on HSMP.
However, while on HSMP I was unemployed for 2.5 months.
Will that be considered a break and ILR refused?

My impression was that HSMP visa holders can have employemnt breaks.

However, I have seen conflicting posts on this forum re this.

Has anyone with similar situation got their ILR refused/rejected?

It will be really beneficial if you could please share your experience.

Thanks in advace

Hi netacct,
Little more information would be much more better like when did you switched to HSMP, when you are applying for ILR etc.

Recently I got ILR as an HSMPian from Sheffield PEO. Only you need to prove that you are economic active.
If you are working - Employers Letter (important).
Salary Slips - Last 3 months it says (6/12 months would be much better)
Bank Statement to prove your salary.
Hope this helps.
Regards
N. Chowdhury

NB: I would suggest join HSMP forum, you will get more legal and useful advise - believe me.
