Also how many months before I can apply for the extenssion before my HSMP due date?

As far as I know yet, maintenace funds are clauculated based on your last three months savings in your account which shouldn't fall below £800 at any stage and £533 for your partner.
Tier1 extension procedure is on UKBIA web site.
I beleive you can apply for extension 4-6 weeks before your visa expiry.
Hope this helps

I have been granted for two year HSMP visa at first time and looking for some info about extension
I was informed by friend of mine is that? We can show any 12 months salary slip and bank statement from the data visa granted to get it extended apparently it shouldn’t have to be continues 12 months. I don’t know how far it’s true.
Can some one show me some light on this?

Thanks
Mohan

I would be keen to know that as well. Yeah if you use your job during the last 6 months when the extension is due, what do you do.
Thanks

No this is not true. See details

78. The applicant can claim points for previous
earnings in any single, consecutive 12-month period
during the 15 months immediately before the date of
applying. An applicant may claim points for a 12-
month period of earnings outside of this 15 months
only in very limited circumstances. These are if the
applicant can show that he/she has been:
• away from the workplace for a time during the
last 12 months because of full-time study (initial
applications only); or
• has been away from the workplace for a time
during the last 12 months (or during the 12 months
immediately before starting full-time studies)
because of a period of maternity or adoptionrelated
absence.

83. An applicant may claim for a period of earnings
of less than 12 months if they have earned sufficient
funds to claim the necessary points.

Hope this helps
