Defined COS - change of employee?

Post by MarkCa » Wed Apr 20, 2022 12:40 am

Hello,

I sponsored one employee 2 months ago, but she has decided to go back to her home country and gave notice to end the employment.

Is there any chance that I can cancel her sponsorship but then use that (her Defined COS and same position) to sponsor someone else instead of her?

I would like to avoid going through the process again so it would be amazing if this spot will become available for someone else on same terms and contract as before.

Thanks!

You need a new CoS for a different/new employee for the position

The one used already is exactly that, used! A cos cannot be "recycled".

How do I notify the Home Office that person is not working anymore?

Hello guys,

My UK employer applied for COS and we are waiting for approval by the Home Office.

How long does it take to get an approval and is there a way to expedite this?

Thanks in advance for your response
