is the decision applied retrospectively?

Post by Hampshire » Mon Jun 27, 2022 6:24 am

Currently, I am workiing on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa. My skilled worker visa is pending with the home office with the below dates

Online Application submitted on 29th April 2022
Biometrics on 12th May 2022

CoS start date 4th May 2022
with an annotation that I could have a start date on 4th June 2022

Whenever the Home office decides on my application, will the decision be applied retrospectively?
i.e the decision is applicable from 4th May or 4th June?

Many thanks in advance.

It will be valid from the date of decision usually.
