No fingerprint appointment after dependant visa application?

Hi,

My wife depended on my visa and she just applied to extend her visa. She finished the application form, paid all fees. She did it a week ago. She also received an email that all evidences has been received but she did not receive any appointment to collect fingerprint for the new BRP which I remember that we had to do last time.

Is it a new process or something I may be missing?

Hi, did you do the identity verification using UKVI ID Verification app?

If yes, you don't need a biometric appointment.

If no, someone else on this forum can throw some light into it.
