33 months wait

Post by yesno » Thu Aug 04, 2022 12:33 am

My family and I have applied for naturalisation on 28/10/2019. It's been 33 months since we have applied but still there's no decision. We have contacted them through MP but we only receive a generic response asking us to wait.
My father is a refugee and the rest of us came by family reunion visa. None of us have committed a crime or caused trouble.
Any suggestions to how to get a decision? It has been really frustrating for us.

Apply for SAR and then speak to a solicitor to apply for PAP hopefully that can expedite the process

Thanks for replying, but you could explain what those abbreviations mean?

Subject access request (SAR)
Pre Action Protocol (PAP) For Judicial Review Against Home Office
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
