HSMP Extension

Hi all,

I have my HSMP extension in Jan. I have a few doubts regarding my extension. Could you guyz please help me

1. Do i need to show my english language qualification again ? (i have showed it during my initial extension)


2. I am planning to show my earning from Jan 2008 - Dec 2008. In June 2008 i changed my primary job and on the p45 it said my gross earning from april to june was 3000 pounds (financial year starts from april). In July i started having a part time job also. In my part time job i was getting BR code. (10 days back i received a letter from Inland revenue saying my tax code for my second job was nornmal 603L). I have earned 800 pounds from my second job till last week which appeared as gross pay on the payslip. but all of a sudden after i received this letter from last week, the tax code my pay slip for my second job is chnaged to 603 L and my gross seems to appear as 3800 pounds on payslip (3000 from my very first job + 800 part time). my primary job is still 603L

I called the inland recenue but looks like it will take 4 weeks to change but my extension is due in Jan. I have to show 20000. if i add the earnings from my primary job and earning till last week from second job (800 pounds), i will be around 20,900 pounds which will suffice the earning criteria.

So if i show my parimary job earnings and part time job earning till last week - 800 pounds (beffore the tax code was changed to 603L), will it be a problem ?

please help me.

Hi,

the gross is changed suddenly from 800 pounds to 3800 pounds on the payslip. so will it cause a problem ?
