Bank Account for showing funds

Post by ManuT1 » Tue Dec 09, 2008 5:12 pm

Hi..I need an urgent help !!!

I am applying for T1 this month, and want to clarify whether can I show funds on the joint account I have with my wife. The concern here is that my Wife is the primary account holder and I the secondary joint account holder for the account.

Please clarify as I don't want this to be a reason for rejection.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Manu

from the guidelines...

"If you wish to rely on a joint account as evidence of
available funds, you must be named on the account
along with one or more other named individual."

It has no preference with respect who is primary or secondary holder. so long as you are named in the account.

good luck.
