I applied, submitted and paid online on 26/06 and still waiting. Does anyone have the same situation? My situation is that partner visa already switched from skilled worker tier 2 general to ILR, does it make the process longer?

I am also in same boat, have not heard anything from UKVI post submitting application since 27th July 2022.
MY visa is expiring in couple of days and not courtesy from them to tell it has breached 8 weeks SLA andnot updating timelines for processing Inside UK on UKVI website.

Good news, even if that’s the longest time I’ve seen reported yet. Hopefully that isn’t becoming the norm.

Honestly, I'm so frustrated with the UKVI's sheer incompetence. The fact that there's no realistic recourse to applicants for UKVI breaching their customer charter makes it all the more worse. I've sent in a complaint and got my MP to intervene in the hope that they'd escalate my wife's application. We're due to travel in a couple of weeks' time and in no mood of spending money on changing our travel plans.

It’s currently taking 16 weeks on average to get a decision if you apply for a Skilled Worker visa from inside the UK.

The advisory on applications taking 16 weeks to process only came in on the 7th of November. Ideally this should only affect applications that have been submitted recently and not those that have been with the UKVI for more than eight weeks already.
