I signed an offer with Company A a few weeks ago and joined this week.
Then suddenly this other company (Company B) that I hadn't heard from in a few weeks asked for a final interview and sent me an offer right after. Offer B is much better in terms of total comp and Company B is much better in terms of name/experience/kind of work.
I accepted Offer B but was advised by basically everyone I know to not resign from Company A until my visa process is done and dusted.
Company B just said today they will have an "approval for a draft CoS sent to my immigration advisors by end of this week".
I'm a little worried if the HO would reject my visa application because I've already started at Company A while Company B is applying for my sponsorship.
Should I resign as soon as my CoS is confirmed/immigration application is submitted? Or can I keep working at Company A until my start date at B (which is End of November).
Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
PS. Neither company knows about the other.
