Hi all,

THis is to request all of you who've applied for Admin Review at the BHC Mumbai to post your timelines - when you applied, how long it took to get a response and whether the review was successful.

My own timeframe is as follows:

Applied for EC on -September 29, 2008
EC Rejected on - October 22, 2008
Admin Review applied on - October 29, 2008.
Status: Pending.......

Please post your own experiences, folks, it sure would help coping with this nerve wracking waiting......................

Hi,
i had applied for an Admin review on the 16th October at BHC Mumbai and the got Seccussful result on the 19th of Nov via email. Have submitted my pasport for Visa stamping on the 20th Nov 08 and still WAITING , hope this helps and it seems visa processing in the last few weeks at BHC mumbai is crawling just hoping to get my passport soon.

I have applied for Admin Review on BHC Chennai -
11-Oct-08.
Status - Pending.

They do not entertain queries on admin review, ie they dont want to post an approx date of completion of the admin review.

Congratulations on the success of your admin review!

So sorry to hear they're taking so long just to stamp your passport - geez!Could be that the terror attacks have caused some delay in their processing though - hope they've delivered your passport back to you by this time, duly stamped an all.

Hello everyone,

My AR review was successful - I've been asked to submit my passport. They received my application on 29th and I got their decision today - 18th of December.

I also applied for admin review on 4 nov to mumbai.

hello Maniyo,

They sent me an email saying that the Entry Clearance Officer's decision have been overturned on review, and asking me to submit my passport.

You should be hearing from them soon now - all the best!

hey Kara and sumit,

that's it.........after long wait y'day i received letter from HO and now my admin review application is successful......who says miracle don't happen.

One question guys.......Do you know time frames within which I have to send my passport for stamping???

Brother i will suggest submit ur Passport ASAP as we are nearing holiday season....just to give u a heads up i had submitted my passport on the 20th nov 08 for visa stamping and got it back on the 16th Dec 08.....so bro hurry up........and a hearty congrajulations to u i can undstand how u must befeeling now........

Have you received your passport back after visa stamp??

I am awaiting and it is now more than 2 weeks.

Hello Maniyo,

Yes, I've received it back - on the 31st.

You should be getting yours very soon now - lots of holidays in between, so that may have held things up.

could you please provide me details when u submitted your passport and whether u asked for post dated visa or not??

As in my case I submitted my passport on 22/12/08 and I asked for post dated visa that may be reason for delay.

Hi Maniyo,

I submitted my passport on the 18th of December, received it back on 31st.

I did call their visa helpline number: 080 48004800 and they told me about the status of the passport.
