HI TO ALL RESPECTED MEMBERS AT THIS FORUM,
I HAVE JUST GOT INFORMED THAT MY COLLEGE HAS BEEN CLOSED DUE TO PROVIDING FAKE DOCUMNETS BY SOME OF THE STAFF MEMBER,AS THE COLLEGE HAS JUST BEEN WENT UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT 2 MONTHS AGO.SO MYQUESTION IS AS I HAVE ACCOMPLISH MY COURSE IN MAY 2008,AND GOT MY IGS FOR A YEAR.AS IN AUGUST 2009 I NEED TO APPLY FOR MY IGS EXTENSION i.e PSW FOR 1 YEAR.DOES IT GOING TO AFFECT MY APPLICATION OR I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT AS I HAVE CLEARED MY COURSE AND CAN PROVE THAT I WAS A GENUINE STUDENT.SORRY FOR SUCH A LONG POST.
ANY REPLY WILL BE HELPFUL

I think u'll be best off speaking to an registered immigration lawyer, this forum is just for opinion and support but in ur situation you need legal guidance and someone to take the case up for you as your qualification was acquired way before the school was closed. I wish you good luck.

Better contact HO directly to ask what happens in this scenario generally and preprae yourself better in the light of their answer.
As for as solicitors are concerned... its hard to find a solicitor these days who is really competant in immigration laws... I have personally come across at least 3-4 solicitors who claim to specialise in immigration laws but have no practicial experience of it. They need to check their books, ho web site and their seniors for every little problem.
They charge you the money and later it is even difficult to get an appointment to see them.

I hav same situation exactly like yours.Hav u able to get any information from HO.
wat will be the possible solution for us..whose colleged being closed n' we already hav IGS from those college.
Appreciate any kind of suggestion ...from other member.

THANKS FOR UR RESPONSE...!
In my case my college was westminister college,(Now closed).As I was granted IGS last year n' look for fulltime job but unfortunetly I couldn't get any right on. So I had continue my study further...in another college..n attempted my exam in this DEC 08 for my ACCA final paper.I am waiting for result in mid of FEB. my IGS gonna expires on April 09.So..in this cirumstances...what will be the best option for me....?? extension for IGS or better to switch back again to student as i am thinking of MBA after my Acca completion.

tnx for ur reply but mate i really dont think that you are a reliable person for an advise on these forums.i am a regular reader of this website and i have never found any solid advise of you t o anyone, for me you are just one of time wasters who claim first to work for UKBA, then you said you are CCL student,so you know wat get a life mate.dont take it offensive but thats what i thnk of you while studin all of your threads.you dont even know sometime that what you are talking about.

If you were a genuine student then you shouldn't be worried even the college went under new management they will still verify your documents. so hope for the best but i would suggest you to contact with new management in the college or Home Office.
