Passport collection

Dear all,

I am writing regarding my wife's visa.

Timeline:

Applied online for Spouse Visa: 2nd June 2022
Biometrics attended: 27th June 2022

On 18th October 2022, upon checking the status of the application on vfs global website, it states that a decision has been made on 18th October 2022 and you will be contacted by vfs global for passport collection.

The status is still the same till today.

Any ideas when the status will be changed or when likely we will be contacted to go and collect the passport?

Is it ok if she goes without getting a text from them for passport collection or wait for their text? At the moment I have read some threads that people are still waiting for a message for passport collection for over three weeks.

Appreciate if someone shares their ideas.

Any ideas when the status will be changed or when likely we will be contacted to go and collect the passport? No one can give such ideas, it will be wrong. Best is for you to keep an eye on the ones you mentioned are waiting for collection medsage for you to have an estimated timeline

Is it ok if she goes without getting a text from them for passport collection or wait for their text? No, there is no assurance that the passport already returned to VFS and may turn out to be a wasted journey.
At the moment I have read some threads that people are still waiting for a message for passport collection for over three weeks.

Like the ref you made above, be patient to receive the passport collection message.
