spouse visa extension time added or not from initial visa

Post by zeek88 » Fri Nov 25, 2022 4:24 pm

hi any time left on initial spouse visa is added onto the spouse visa extension ( flr ) when you apply for spouse visa extension.for example if my wife applies after spebding 2 years 6 months on initial spouse visa .she still got 3 months left on initial vvusa so if she decides to apply after 2 yrs 6 months instead 2 yrs 9 months.will the 3 months be added into her Further leave to remain visa.id f not 3 months than how much will be added to flr visa.please explain.

No it is not added to her extension of the visa.

An extension will be granted for 2.5 years.

As CR001 said above it is not CF or added. Therefore ensure you do not apply too early lest you create a situation of shortfall in qualifying for ILR SETM at the right time.

Your P60 is not required and meeting the financial requirements in the 6months preceeding the application suffices.

You need to upload
1. The account statements and the amount being used must not have gone below that in last 6months or else the CW will use lowest figure in last 6months

2. A declaration of the source of the savings which is a simple straightforward letter from you.

Evidence of cohabitation comes in for that and shows subsisting relationship.

Don't have a view of the application. Would thunk you can enter details like name and DoB. Tick on providing the requested evidence to move forward and then explain in note why you cannot provide copies of the requested documents.

From when you started getting the salary level you are on. If you have had a change in rate since starting the employment from when you started getting current rate.

relevant p60 querry

Post by zeek88 » Thu Dec 15, 2022 6:09 pm

Hi.in the appendix fm-se it says that the appicant in addition to payslips and bankstatements required under the rules may submit the p60 for the relevant periods of employment relied upon ( if issued ).so if my mrs is applying in may 2023 for Further leave to remain extension flr m using category A , 6 months payslips rule .than my question is would the relevant periods of employment for the purpose of the application be covered by the p60 from tax year 2022-23 issued in april 2023.payslips provided will be from dec 2022, jan ,feb, march, april, may 2023.

They won't ask you for a P60 because it isn't needed!!

No, a P60 won't cover the period to May as a P60 covers 6th April to 5th April only, the tax year, regardless of when it is issued
