We are applying from USA. I just got the approval of Tier 1 (Genral) Migrat VISA. Now applying for my wife. Having some problem to filling up the application. Please have a look and reply me back. The Q are following:-

Section 6 - About the Main Applicant

Is the main applicant employed?

YES NO

If I click one YES goes the following next page

1. What job or employment is the main applicant doing in the UK or going to do in the UK?

(My question is I am still working in USA then how I can show about the UK job??)

2. Name of company where the main applicant is working/will work
3. When did the main applicant begin their job?
3. When is the job expected to finish?

I also stumbled on the same question.

I guess the question should be "is the main applicant employed in UK?" and we should give NO as an answer. Then you can skip the UK employment page and go straight to the next page.

Anyone with better idea?

I think the best way would be to answer "No" to the employment question. However, in the additional information section you should provide information re main applicant's current job in US and also that under Tier-1 the main applicant and his/her dependents can look for job once they are in UK. I went through the form and it seems that it in not completely tailored to the PBS (Tier-1 General) program.
