NZ PR benifits

Dear Experts,
I’m working in New Zealand on work visa.
I love to settle in NZ and interested to apply for Permanent Visa (PR).
What are the advantages for getting PR? Pls advice me.

As a Permanent Resident:

- you no longer rely on your employer for your right to stay in NZ
- any children born to you (in New Zealand) will be NZ citizens by birth
- you can apply for NZ citizenship after 5 years
- you may be eligible for social assistance
- you have the right to leave the workforce to study

They're the main advantages. If you want to stay in New Zealand, it's something you will need.
