Previous Earnings - Bonus in a month

Previous Earnings - Bonus in a month

Hi All,

In the 12 months claiming period for earnings, company has given bonus of 20,000 INR in the month of Oct 2008.

How to go ahead about this ? Will this pay considered in Gross salary calculation for previous earnings ? Will that be a problem ?

or any letter required from HR/Payroll dept saying that its bonus given by the company.

Pls share your experiences. Looking forward to your kind responses.

Hi Suresh,
i have similar situation and i got 2 times bonus in the total period i claimed.
in the payslip it has been shown as shift allowance.
iam not sure whether HO considered this additional income or not, as iam getting the same points even if they deduct this additional income.

I used my bonus as part of my income as well.

The HR wrote this in the letter..

Regarding annual income for 2007 totaling xxyyxxyy , xxxx was in respect of salary, xxx Baht was in respect of a position allowance and yyyy Baht was given as a performance bonus.
