Still have a valid visitor visa, how to change

I am a dentist by profession. I recently secured a position in Uk and I have to apply for work permit. Now I have a valid visitor visa till end of July and now my job starts in July first week. How do I apply? Will I have to fill something extra? Is there anything that I should do ?

You have to apply for a skilled worker visa when the employer has assigned a CoS to you.

If your visa is approved, your visitor visa will automatically be cancelled.

You should enter the uk from the date your skilled worker visa is valid from.

Thank you so much. Also another question is I applied for NARIC STATEMENT OF COMPARSION for registration with dental council in 2019. Can I use same certificate for tier 2 application ??? Does it have expiry

Just to iterate you must apply from overseas. As far as I understand, you cannot vary your permission from visitor within the UK.
