Which is the best visa route for a child Dependant that Just turned 18

Post by sassybee » Sun May 14, 2023 5:16 pm

Hi All,

I am making an application for skilled worker visa and it's a family of 6 (Dad, mum and 4 children). They all live as a family unit in their home country. One of the children turned 18 in February. Please is it possible to apply for this child as dependant? If the answer is no, are there other visa routes that can allow the child move to the UK with their family.

Thank You

The 18 year old will have to get a visa he or she qualifies for on their own E.g. Student visa.
