Pending FLR(M) application and right to work

Hi all,

I’ve submitted the application for my spouse visa extension using the standard service. I’m currently working in the UK. How can I prove my right to work to the employer if the decision from the Home office is delayed ?

Your employer can use the Employer Checking Service to verify your continued right to work. As long as you applied for the extension prior to the expiry date of your visa your right to work is maintained under your previous visa conditions until the new decision is made.

It is generally known as 3c leave where you continue under the conditions of the existing visa pending the outcome of the new applications.
