ILR (WP)- Absence for total 5 years 180 days or 90 days??

Post by anuje » Tue Dec 30, 2008 9:15 pm

Hi, I will appreciate if someone could please clarify that, for ILR eligibility on WP basis, what are the number of days one can be absent during whole 5 year period?? Some people have told me 180 days and some told me 90 days (3 months)!!!
I also tried to find it on bia website, which does not adress this issue.
Kind regards
Anu

Happy new year to everybody on this forum :D

Hi Anu,
I'm looking into this at the moment and I have been out of the country for one reason or another over the past 5 years. As far as I understand it is 180 days over the 5 year period.
