OCI for child born in India (British passport)

OCI for child born in India (British passport)

Hi,
My child was born in India 1 year ago and we are a resident in India.
We just received her British passport (Applied from India) and looking to apply for OCI (both parents are OCI holders).
However I was told the child would need a entry visa before applying for OCI.

Could you suggest if we could apply directly for OCI in FRRO or apply for entry visa first.
